Tie-Dye Butterfly Card

I made this one a while back but needed to wait to post it. I filled out a submission form to have it published in a magazine. The magazine got back to me yesterday and I read the agreement. After reading their copyright agreement I've opted not to submit my work to them. Always read the fine print and the details before letting your work go. I think, for now, I'll stick to posting on Facebook and Instagram and work on writing more posts here.

Inked Inspirations: Tie-Dye Butterfly Card

I've really been into the embossing resist technique, combined with distress stamping. The butterfly was stamped in VersaMark Watermark ink and embossed with clear powder on white card stock. The tie-dye colors are in Wild Honey, Peacock Feathers, and Seedless Preserves. The diamond pattern is stamped in Chipped Sapphire and then the butterfly is buffed with a clean, dry cloth to remove any ink. The stamped panel and the yellow panel were cut with the Simon Says Stamp Postage Stamp Edge Frames, layered together and then put on a white card base.
